Manifesto

After attending four language trips, I always struggled to choose the right agency, school, and destination. I realized there was no platform like Airbnb or eBookers for booking language trips. The business model remains outdated, relying on agencies as intermediaries between students and language schools. With Lenguahub, I aim to transform this process, eliminating the middleman and revolutionizing how language trips are booked.

  • After four language trips through an agency, I wondered: why isn’t there an Airbnb for browsing, comparing, and booking directly with language schools?

  • The language trip booking model has remained unchanged for 50 years. Language schools still rely on partner agencies to bring them students. It’s time to innovate this outdated industry.

Core Idea

Enable students to browse, compare, and book directly with language schools abroad, avoiding hidden agency fees.

With Lenguahub, language schools can boost profits by paying lower commissions than through traditional agencies.

Validation strategy

To test the language trip platform idea, I built a prototype where users can create an account and join the newsletter for launch updates.

If 25% of visitors create an account, the concept is validated. If 50% of those join the newsletter, it confirms market interest. Otherwise, it suggests no product-market fit.
